物理性去角質：運用各種不同大小的顆粒來產生磨砂效果，藉此帶走角質，常見的有成份有：荷荷芭植物顆粒、聚乙烯、植物或果核顆粒。
化學性去角質：運用酸鹼或酵素原理將角質溶解，達到移除角質的目的，常見的有成分有：果酸、水楊酸、木瓜酵素等。
