2012 年發生的「膠災」大家都應還歷歷在目，因颱風而墜海的６個貨櫃裝滿了約168噸的聚丙烯膠粒造成的生態污染，不少魚類因不覺吞下膠粒而暴斃。流入海中的膠粒尚且有一定體積，原來還有一種膠粒或許已悄悄進入你的體內。說來慚愧，原來連一向支持環保和有機產品的編輯都成了毒害環境的一份子。
上月底，美國總統奧巴馬已簽署立法，由2018年1月1日起禁止生產和銷售含塑膠微粒 (Microbeads) 包括洗面和磨砂膏，牙膏和洗髮精等個人護理產品。為什麼需要立法禁止？
首先要了解這個「會毒害環境」的『塑膠微粒』到底是什麼。
