為宣揚高級 Merino Wool 而出現的時裝設計大賽《International Woolmark Prize》擁有多年歷史，孕育出不少世界頂級設計師。Karl Lagerfeld 和Saint Laurent 亦分別於21 歲和18 歲時獲得IWP 頒發的獎項，於時裝界嶄露頭角。
2013-14 年度的International Woolmark Prize 地區賽冠軍陸續誕生，歐洲勝利者是來自英國的Siblings、美國的是近年人氣爆燈的Altuzarra，亞洲區冠軍亦於上星期誕生。she.com 更與其中一位評判、Calvin Klein 的創作總監 Kevin Carrigan 大談時裝。
