實不相瞞，家中衣櫥仍有數件由母親遺傳下來的vintage Esprit 服裝，自問有些basic item 即使穿著多年，也不覺老套。近年品牌有見被大眾所遺忘，重新打造綠色店舖，並不惜大灑金錢轉型。先有重金禮聘前「Z」字頭品牌CEO 過檔，再有「L」字頭牛仔褲品牌設計師跳槽協助，誓要振興品牌形象。
編輯上週到訪Esprit 位於德國的總部，眼界大開，更訪問其Chief Product Officer ── Melody Harris-Jensbach，分享時裝之道。
你會怎樣形容Esprit 的顧客？現今社會，年齡已不再是一個障礙，而Esprit 並沒有特定的target consumer。我們的顧客都是young at heart，有生活品味，與品牌顏色鮮豔，充滿活力的形象不謀而合。
假若必須挑選一個年齡數字作為target customer，我會說是28 歲的年輕人。年過30 的女士喜愛保守年齡的秘密，但她們卻是最充滿自信，事業有成，擁有完美生活的一群。而20 出頭，剛踏入社會的少女，她們正在學習，卻會作成熟打扮來增添自信；所以我還是取28 這個中位數好了。
可以和我們分享秋冬2012 的must-have item 嗎？skinny jeans 和富彈性的jegging 是必需品，但今季將會非常流行顏色鮮豔的牛仔褲，及印有圖案的款式，時尚又好看。短身西裝褸、薄薄的外衣、絲質衫和性感的一字膀上衣都是不可或缺的單品。還有，女士們緊記要wrap yourself in luxury，優質的 cashmere 圍巾，柔軟輕薄，是我冬天的至愛。
