大家對Prabal Gurung 的認識應該不多。雖然品牌於2009 年創立，但至今已有一班名人支持者，如美國總統夫人Michelle Obama 和名嘴Oprah Winfrey。

設計師今次特別與rapper 兼dancer Rye Rye 合作拍音樂短片，有意打入年輕人市場。Rye Rye為M.I.A. 徒弟，Pradal Gurung 也剛榮獲CFDA 獎項，二人均為業界新人，用新歌《New Thing》宣傳2012 Resort Collection 便最貼題。
