<p>結婚十四年的伊朗中產夫婦尼達及絲敏已屆離婚邊緣，唯一出路就是舉家離國開始新生活，因為絲敏不想十一歲的女兒泰美在伊朗長大。<br><br>一切準備就緒之際，丈夫尼達卻改變初衷，原因是他父親患上老人癡呆症，需要他的照顧。<br><br>尼達的決定令絲敏非常失望，她決意離婚，卻遭到法庭駁回，無奈之下搬回跟父母同住。女兒泰美只好跟父親尼達相依為命，盼望母親回來一家團聚。<br><br>失去太太的尼達找來一名來自低下階層的年輕女子華倩幫忙照顧父親，但他卻不知對方有孕，更瞞著丈夫工作。一天尼達回家，發現父親給綁起來，又因為掙扎跌到而失去意識，華倩則不知所蹤。<br><br>未幾華倩終於回來，怒髮衝冠的尼達將華趕出屋外，但華倩卻失足滾下樓梯……<br></p>
