<p>故事以聖羅蘭與皮爾貝格由1956 至1976 二十年間的生活點滴為主題，描繪他們年輕時的情誼及奮鬥事蹟。<br><br>聖羅蘭服兵役時一度精神崩潰，其後在沉重工作壓力下，病情不斷反覆。兩人的關係，由合作伙伴以至感情生活均多次面臨挑戰。<br><br>皮爾貝格曾說：「伊夫一年只會快樂兩次，就是春季及秋季的時裝展」。其餘時間，聖羅蘭經常會抑鬱及暴躁，但因得到皮爾貝格的包容及悉心照顧，最終兩人仍可雙守到老，締造了非凡的時裝王國，亦譜出一段俗世真情。</p>
